Many thanks for your quick response to my entry for Colgrave.

I do have the information  from the First Families Site as I think this was my own entry you sent, but thanks anyway.  It's great to know that this site is still helpful even though new information is unable to be added.

As mentioned it was more the family back in Thurleigh, and elsewhere in Bedfordshire that I was trying to find out about and the details you sent do help.  There seems to be a bit of a gap between these births and of course they are in different parishes.  This could mean that they moved around a bit and there are possibly others between, born in other places.  ???

I had that Francis' parents were Francis and Frances (possibly known as Ann/e) nee Bourne so could there be other children born to Francis and Frances?  Is it common that a lady with the name Frances would be known as Ann/e?  Or could it just be that it was so done to distinguish between the male and female Frances?  Am interested in what others might think of this?

Thanks so much for your help,

Regards,
Min
