Hi
I hope you can help me.
I have a marriage certificate for my great grandparents and cannot work out what the street name is.
Robert Fletcher 21 Mary Cullen 20
They married on 1st June 1901 at St Michaels, Hulme, Manchester
Roberts father is Thomas Fletcher and Mary's father is John Cullen.
I found Mary on the 1901 census living with her Roberts sister but it is not the same address. I cannot seem to find Robert on the 1901 census (he was born in 1879).
Thanks | |

Hi Janice Can you tell us where Robert Fletcher was born? And do you know his mother's name or the names of any of his siblings? I am searching the 1901 but do need more info from you if I am to find him. Thanks. Marian Manager |

Hi Janice The 1901 census was taken on 31 March, two months before Robert's marriage. Have found two possible Robert Fletchers, both age 21, single and born Manchester. One is a patient in Monsall Fever Hospital. The other is working as an assistant to a pharmaceutical chemist in Cambridgeshire. Please let us know what you think. Do you have any of their birth certs? Marian |

Hi Janice It probably won't send to the site because of space limitations. I understand you don't wish to put your e-mail on here, so best thing is if you send direct to me at [email protected] Then I can reply and send you the 1901 census image also. Marian |

Janice - would it be possible to also scan the death cert of Mary Cullen to me at my e-mail address? It might help with the investigation! You can very often glean some clues there. Thanks. Marian |
