I am not sure what info you already have, and whether you have access to the censuses.  Anyway, these below are my findings so far.

 

On the 1881 census of England living in Ealing, Middlesex is Cyrus W. Lewis age 4 born Brentford c1877.  Father Cyrus Lewis occupation Hairdresser born town of Monmouth c1830.  Mother Mary A. born Richmond, Surrey c1838.  Siblings Joseph 18, Annie 14, John 12, Ada 10, Clara 8, Maud 6 and Frank 1.  All children born Brentford.

 

In 1891, Cyrus and Mary are still alive, and are listed with Clara 18, William 14, Frank 12, Emily 8 and Beatrice 6. 

 

 

In 1901, Cyrus L. Lewis is age 71 and Mary 63.  It says Cyrus was born in Mayhill, Monmouthshire c1830.  Frank is still at home age 21.

 

It seems that Cyrus Lammas Lewis died 9 years after that census.  I found this record:

I found Cyrus and Mary Ann's marriage in 1877:

But there was also another marriage in 1852:

The strange thing is that in 1861 he is listed on the census as living with wife Mary Ann age 23 and son George age 2.  I have investigated further to see if I could find a death of his first wife and came up with these:

Could one of them have been his first wife and the other his daughter?

In 1841 Cyrus Lewis senior age 9 is living with his parents John and Hannah (both age 30) in Wyesham, Newton Dixton, Monmouthshire, Wales.  John is an Agricultural Labourer.  Cyrus' siblings are James 8, John 4, Elizabeth 2.

 

Ten years later in 1851 Cyrus is living in Brentford with his uncle and aunt, David and Sarah Okell / Odell / Ottell.  I see that David is also a hairdresser, born in Warwick.

This looks like the marriage of Cyrus William Lewis Junior who was born 1877:  No way of knowing, with the actual certificate, which one is his wife, Sarah or Alice.  But you may know this already?

Hi Marian,         Many thanks for your reply.You have been most helpful. It sounds as if Cyrus William preferred his second name. I have an enquiry regarding Edith Mary's husband. I have some information about him.

His name is William Edward Holmes.Born 6th June1868 at 143 Broad Street, Pendleton ,England.He was A farmer in Manchester . He was accidently killed on board SS Haimon 21st December 1922.His father was William Holmes.Mother Sarah Ann (nee Heywood). Siblings Annie, Florence, Ernest,Sarah ann, Clara, George Christmas.

Hi Marian,

          I have no info on Cyrus William Lewis's wife .Just wondered if you could find out more. I know that Annie married a Harry Mather, as she came to New Zealand.Also my mother had letters etc. that mentioned that there was another sister of Edith Mary's, called Maria. I also wonder if you could find out who the other siblings married.

I have firstly been searching out those marriages, and have found some possibilities for some of them.   Not an easy task!  However, this is what I have come up with.  In many cases, there is more than one marriage listed on a page, so there is no way of telling which spouse matches which.  The only way of knowing for sure is to order the certificate.
