Hi, wanted to know is there an index to Divorces in UK as David Lewis's wife Mona moved to Australia a few years after their split in late 1940's I have been told that after 7 years separated by sea british marriages are considered Divorced is this true? Also is there an index for wills/probate in UK David Lewis died in April 1975 in Daventry and we were just wondering if their might have been a will, I am also interested in tracking down wills from other family members in 1800's. If you could let me know where to look I would be grateful. Thanks Sandra |
