I am looking for Mary Mahoney/Mahony born abt 1880 thought to be from a small village called Gortnahoe in the parish of Gortnahoe near Fennor on the border of Co.Tipperary & Co.Kilkenny.
Mary was married to Richard Coady. She had brothers and sisters, no names unfortunately.
Mary and Richard had children Richard, Patrick, Joseph, Michael ( who moved to USA) James, Thomas, Edward (died young at Dardenlles, France) Bridget, Margaret (my Grandmother) and Molly. Am I right in thinking Molly was another name for Mary ??
Im interested in Mary b abt 1880 and her brothers and sisters. Thank you Patzy C

Update on Mary Mahoney & Richard Coady/Cody.

It is possible that Mary & Richard were married in the district of Kilcooly in 1892 although I have no definate proof of this but after searching the records on http://tipperarysouth.brsgenealogy.com site I have found both a Mary Mahoney & Richard Coady married in this year.
Mary lived in/around Gortnahoe village. Gortnahoe is also the parish and Kilcooly the district.
Anyone got any ideas that may help.
Best Regards Patzy
P.S. Happy (belated)New Year to everyone, heres hoping for some answers in 2008

As you know I'm researching my ancestors from the town and parish of Urlingford Co.Kilkenny. I am registered with the IFHF and often use the site but recently I have come up against conflicting information.

On LDS (Familysearch) Mike found an ancestor of mine but I cannot find this information on the IFHF (Rothe House) site. I would pay to view the details if this were available. I'm confused. Is there any reason for the birth to show on LDS and not on Rothe House site ?? Has anyone else come up against this?

Best Regards Patzy

Good day Marion and thanks for that info.
For some strange reason I didnt get this post/message in my hotmail box! I have just found it now, though it is dated September!! sorry you must think Im plonker. I will check all my other ancestors posts on here in case I have other replies I havent seen.
In November of this year I went to Dublin and purchased a copy of her birth cert confirming her parents which lead to a find of  brothers and a sister on the LDS. One brother Edward married in NY 1905, Carole is guiding me with advice & its possible she has traced him in 1910 USA census. I have applied (New York) for his marriage cert which will take 6-8 weeks. January cant come quick enough for me ha ha.
