Hi
I was contacted about a year ago by a woman living in America/Australia who had lots of details about O'Briens in Ireland who emmigrated to other parts of the world.

She contacted me mainly because I was researching the names Slattery/Scannell/Shanahan and McCarthy. I didn't even know until she had contacted me that there were O'Briens in the family.

When I get home from work later today I will look up her email  and give you her website address on the extensive O'Briens she has researched. It might help.

Hi Pam

Here is the address of Kathleen, the woman who contacted me about the O'Briens [email protected] She may be able to help you. Or know someone else who can.

Alternativly you could try typing in 'O'Brien Genealogy' in your address bar and see what else comes up from there. I believe that Kathleen mentioned a sister site in her last email to me 'Irish relatives'

All these are worth a shot, hope it helps

 Irene

PS Why has my earlier message repeated? did I send the same one twice? if so sorry bout that must be having a senior day

Hi Managers
Just wondering if there has been any new leads re my Timothy OBrien and his wife Jane Nee Kane, wonder where they can be, my cousin has also tried for many years to locate them to no avail
Now i know why i put in the too hard basket after so many years of searching...to no avail
but if anyone can find these elusive O'Briens i know i can count on my friends on here
to try, as Mike has last year and i appreciate his efforts

Thank you all
