Hi     I am assisting Mike, and have found your Picker family on the 1891 census.     1891 Census   Residing at North Forty-foot Bank, Boston, Sleaford, Lincs.     Thomas Picker  38  Agricultural Labourer  b Sleaford   Sarah Picker  32  born North 40-foot Bank Children: Elizabeth Picker  Age 10  born Evedon, Lincs.  1880 or 1881 J. Tom Picker  6  born North 40-foot Bank William Picker  4  born North 40-foot Bank Sarah J.  1   born North 40-foot Bank     You will notice their ten-year-old daughter was called Elizabeth here.  Perhaps this was her middle name.  But it is obviously the same girl as the 4-month old on the 1881 census.     Hope this is of some help.     Marian Manager |

Hello      Here is her birth record.            Births Mar 1881   (>99%) | | PICKER |   Elizabeth |    |   Sleaford |   7a | 463 |        She must have been called Elizabeth Jane, (or possibly Jane Elizabeth). Marian |

I should mention that although Elizabeth's birth was registered in the March quarter of 1881, it could have been registered as early as 1st January, and therefore she could have been born in December 1880.       The census of 1881 was taken on the night of the 3rd April, so it is more than likely that she was indeed born the previous December.  That would make her four months old, as it says on the census.     Marian Manager   |
