Hi
I am trying to find where a Margaret PARSON(S) originated from - she was born c1835 Cluness (different records I have list it as Cavan or Monaghan). She came to Australia on the "John Knox" in 1850 as a 15yr old orphan - her parents Henry PARSON and Margaret CARR are listed on her shipping record as deceased - religion listed as "Church of Ireland". Margaret married out here in 1859. Would appreciate any help you could give (or direction to follow to find her) - thanks for the opportunity
regards
Deb

Hi Marian
many thanks for your efforts so far - and the rapidity of your response - will look further into the leads you have provided - haven't found a reference to a Henry PARSON/S coming out here but maybe if there was a brother he was young enough to be taken in by a family member
again many thanks
regards
Deb

Hi Deb

I wonder if you have tried the First Families site?  Just key in "Parsons".
