Hi,

I'm looking for information on

 

Ann Ryan (b. 1820) Murroe, Limerick.

 

She immigrated to the US but first fact of her arrival is her marriage in 1854 to

 

Patrick McCarthy (b. 1814, Castleconnell, Limerick). 

 

They lived in Minnesota US as listed in census 1860 and 1870. A book index notes Patrick died in 1870 but he's on the 1870 census dated May. Can't find either of them after that. They may have met in Illinois.

 

Ann Ryan may have had a brother Patrick Ryan, who also immigrated, and possibly a Michael.  It look like Patrick McCarthy and Patrick Ryan were friends and may have immigrated together, Ann immigrating later.

 

Looked in Castleconnell but it has no records for the early 1800's.

 

Info on any of them would be great!
