SLAT(T)ER/Y ?William Slatter married Elizabeth Keen in 1793 at Chipping Norton, Oxford. Their son, Timothy (B 9/5/1813 Chipping Norton; D 1869 Sydney) is my 3rd great grandfather. Timothy (or “Times?as he is listed in places) married Margaret Maloney in Sydney, Australia and I think had 6 children ?there is conjecture about this. Any help would be great.

STACE ?William Stace was born 1684 in Waldron, Sussex and died 30/9/1729 in the same place. He married Mary Fuller (B 1688 Warnfield, Sussex; D 10/8/1747 Waldron) on 17/6/1709 in Waldron, Sussex and were my 7th great grandparents. They had at least 10 children, including my 6th great grandfather, James. The line goes down to my 3rd great grandmother, Louisa Adelaide Stace (B 15/5/1836 Cantebury, Kent; D 26/3/1909 Australia) who married Alexander McGilvray (B 16/12/1821 Ardnamuchan, Scotland; D 10/9/1885 Australia) and had 13 children including my GG grandfather James Dugald McGilvray who married Ellen Teresa Toms.

TAAF(F)E ?Elizabeth Kate Taafe was born between 1879-1881 and her father was John. I don’t know where she was born or any other details. She married Peter Leather on 18/10/1903 in Liverpool, England.

TOMS ?John Toms (B abt 1724 Sydling, Dorset; D 2/12/1814 Beercrocombe, Somerset) is listed as having 2 wives but I can’t deny or confirm this. He first married Elizabeth Moore (B 1724, Sydling; D 15/1/1757) and had possibly 4 children. He married, 18/12/1768 (Barrington, Somerset), his second wife (my 6th great grandmother) Elizabeth (Betty) Ivory (B 7/9/1746 Whitelackington, Somerset; D 22/1/1819 Beercrocombe, Somerset) and had possibly a further one child. Because the wives had the same Christian name it has been hard to track down other children. The Toms family goes down to my GG Grandmother, Ellen Teresa who married James Dugald McGilvray. Any help with this family would be wonderful
