Hi Marian, Thanks for the information but I don't know if they are right. I was told that her name was Doris but my source might have been incorrect. I think that Cyril Charles FARMER came over here when he was 16 when his mother died and he emigrated to Canada. That would have been 1924. Also, can you tell me why the 1911 Census has not been released yet? I don't know anything about Census... Thanks Patti |

Hi Patti Cyril must have married at a very young age if it was before 1924. I will check through the marriages up to 1924. It is the law in England that censuses are not released for 100 years. I understand the reason has to do with the fact that some of the people listed could in fact still be alive. Marian Manager |

Hi Marian, Cyril was married over here in Canada. He emigrated here from England in 1924 or 1925. So his marrage must have been anytime after that time. I know that his wife's name was Doris (?) and they had one daughter named "Roseanne". Thanks for the other information. Maybe 1911 Census will help us....I am not sure where to go from here. Thanks Patti |

OK Patti, I had not realised Cyril married in Canada. Can you tell me the area of Toronto where they lived? There are 75 sub-districts and I don't know where to start. If we can narrow down the place, then I am hoping we might find them yet. Marian |

Hi Marian, Sorry about that. Cyril left England when he was around 16 years of age...probably 1924. He went to Toronto and did live with his father Albert and new wife for a short period of time. I don't know how big Toronto was back then but that is about all the information that I have. Sorry I can't be much help. All I found out is that he married a woman named Doris and they had a child named Roseanne. I know he remarried my husband's mother in Nov. 1964. Thanks Patti |
