pineapple and ham are a pizza abomination lol
I couldn't agree more about the pineapple. I can take ham on pizza, and I love pineapple, but it has absolutely NO BUSINESS anywhere near a pizza. That's sacreligious.
We make mini-pizzas pretty often at home, using either the Pillsbury pizza dough in the dairy case (like canned biscuits), pizza dough mix, or we'll take a baguette and cut it in three pieces and then in half length-wise. We all like different things on our pizzas, so we have pepperoni, bacon, ground beef, ham or Canadian bacon, sliced green peppers, sliced onion, mushrooms, and two or three kinds of grated cheese and parmesan. That way, everybody gets to put what they want and like on their own pizza. Then, we throw them all on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven. We love it.
We do occasionally order pizza from a place called Caparelli's which has excellent pizza. And there is a new pizzeria in the neighborhood called Fox's (I know they have stores in other parts of the country, just not sure how wide-spread they are), which is pretty decent.
