Homemade Almond Paste
1 1/2 cup blanched almonds
1 1/2 cup confecioners sugar
1 egg white
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
1 /4 tsp salt
Place almonds in food processor. cover and process until smooth. Add sugar,egg white and salt. Cover and prcess until smooth. Divide into 1/2 cup portions. Place in airtight containers
Can be refrigerated up to 1 month and frozen for 3 months. Makes 1 1/2 cups of paste
