Hello.  losing a hundred pounds is a big accomplishment!  If you did it once I am sure you will be able to do it again.  Although I have not hit menopause yet, my problems started after having kids.  It just changed my whole body chemistry and changed everything.  I think carb addiction is common.  I know I am one!

I am at the same point in my life where I cannot eat what I used to, and I have been having problems with food I used to be able to eat.  I have had to start a kind of south beach or atkins type diet where I do level or phase ONE and take most foods out of my diet for a week or two then slowly add new foods in a every few days.  That way I can figure out what I am having reactions to.  I am having problems with alot of pastas, bread, and crackers I feel kind of bloated and sick after eating them and I get migrains.  I also cannot eat alot of nuts or meat anymore I get really sick.  Guess that leaves veggies and fruits!  For the processed food like bread and certain nuts my doc thinks it is a preservative or a food coloring that is the culprit, Because I can eat some brands of say peanuts or Peanut butter but not other brands.....  Weird.
