Well, So far so good. I haven;t eaten anything todaybecause I'm still feeling sick. I know, it's not a great excuse for not eating but I feel like CRAP. I'm still exercising but I think my effexor is making me "not hungry". It helps with my mood but makes it hard to eat...anything. Justin took me to Mexis (my favorite food in the world) and I ate like 4 bites of beans, 2 bites of rice, and one taco. That's the biggest meal I've eaten in 7 days. I'm doing a good job dieting....lost 11lbs so far. I'm looking to get down to 170 by the time the wedding comes around...maybe less. That's 35lbs that I can lose...I've lost the 11lbs in 7days... Later, Sammy |

I haven't really been eating "healthy" and I know I haven't. I've been sick because I'm not eating well...dizzy, tired, lethargic, sore, achy...
I have to remember that my Effexor does make my appitite go away completely and I have to FORCE myself to eat healthy, good for me foods.
I get really upset when I eat too much (in my mind) when I have a Manic state. I almost take on an anti-food state. It really upsets me that I know this, but I can't seem to stop it.
Granted, I need to get back into counceling or therapy. I have a really hard time telling a stranger my problems...especially someone who is getting paid to hear my problems...it just irritates me.
The thing is that I try to be healthy; I exercise, I've cut down on smoking and ONLY smoke when I'm at work.. What I eat is healthy, but I just don't eat enough.
Anyways, I'm just ranting...having a bit of a moment I suppose. Luckily, I have the weight to lose, and I do have a family doctor.

Sammy..what are you taking Effexor for? Is that an antidepressent? FYI.. I buy Kraft smooth peanut butter and it has about 90 calories for 1 tbsp ... loooove Kraft pb!!! Your low calorie count has me worried for you. You're going to be losing muscle... and your body isn't getting the nutrients it needs to function Have you told your doctor that your appetite is so low? |
