Place in 1 1/2 qt, baking dish...3 cups soft bread crumbs(use 4 cups for a firmer pudding)....
Blend in..2 cups milk(scalded with 1/4 c. butter)
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup seedless raisens....
Fold in milk mixture with the bread and place dish in a pan of hot water 1 in deep..bake until knife comes out clean...Serve warm with ice cream or whip cream...350 deg oven(40to 45 min)...6 serv. can be doubled...For variety you can use some dates and nuts instead of the raisens...
