2 lbs. shredded hash browns
8 oz. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
16 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 T. dehydrated onions (or small diced onion)
salt & pepper
2c. crushed potato chips
1 stick margarine

Mix all ingredients except chips & marg.
Spread in 13"x9" pan.
Top with chips & marg.
Bake at 400 degrees until bubbly.

(Can add some diced meat like ham or chicken, if you want this to be an entree instead of side dish.
EVERYONE LOVES this.  I've been asked for the recipe wherever I take it.)
