2 lbs hamburg
2 eggs well beaten
1 small onion
1/4 cup bread crumbs
salt & pepper
1/4 cup cooking oil
3 tlbsp corn starch
3/4 cup liquid drained from pineapple tidbits
1/2 cup pineapple
2 tlbsp soy sauch
3 tlbsp vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
2 green peppers (cut in small pieces)
1 can slice mushrooms ( I use fresh)
Mix hamburg, egg, bread crumbs, onion and salt & pepper
Shape into balls
Heat oil
Brown meatballs
Mix corn starch with 1/4 cup pineapple juice
Add soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, water and remaining pineapple juice
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sauce thickens
Add meat balls, peppers and mushrooms
Simmer
Serve over rice
