Bourbon Cookies
16 ounce package of mixed dried fruit
1 1/2 cups raisins
1 1/2 cups walnuts
3 cups flour  (divided)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup bourbon
3 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
Start by getting out two good sized bowls.  (This recipe makes a lot of cookies.)
In one combine the dried fruit, raisins, walnuts and one cup flour to coat all.

In second bowl cream brown sugar, and butter.  Add eggs one at a time.  Add milk and bourbon
Add two cups flour, soda, salt, cloves and nutmeg.
Drop  1 heaping teaspoons  on ungreased baking sheet @ 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
They disappear like magic.

I am going to try the recipe without the fruit too, as I know that will also make a good cookie.
