Roast pork w/apple dinner 4 pork chops, about 3/4 inch thick 1 onion, chopped 2 cups mushrooms, sliced (or 2 sm. cans) 1 1/2 cups white rice, uncooked 1 can (10 1/2 oz) condensed chicken broth 1 broth can of water 2 red apples, chopped (I substitute potatoes) 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add chops; cook on medium-high heat 4 minutes on each side or until brown. Add onion, mushrooms - cook 3 more minutes. Stir in rice, broth, water, apples (or potatoes), and thyme.
