Therefore know that the Lord, your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.  Deuteronomy 7:9.

When we lived in Germany, the climate was so much different then in the South (USA).  Spring seemed to follow winter at a snail's pace.  But eventually flowers peek through chilled soil and bird songs replace the scrape of snowplows.  Bulky coats and boots hide in closets or attics, and screens replace storm windows and doors..

Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens.  Psalm 89:2.

Eventually, in the heat of August, winter may seem like a long overdue friend.  But come next January, when spring hides like buried treasure, remember...as sure as winter came, it will eventually leave.  The same holds true for the winter of the soul.  One day God will surprise you with the sight and song of spring.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9.

In the darkest winter God can surprise you with spring.  God Bless All.  Love in Christ, Sister Betty.
