"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23.

As youngsters, we found the clear, smooth water in a lake fascinating.  The crystal clear water reflected the images of nearby trees, the occasional flight of a bird, and our own images like a gigantic mirror.

We amused ourselves by tossing pebbles into the lake causing ripples upon the surface of the water.  this distorted the reflected images into strange looking objects.  The trees would take on a psychedelic appearance, and our own images was not recognizable.  However, by looking up, we could see that all was well with the trees that cast the image, and we felt confident that our facial features had not really changed.

Like pebbles in a lake alcohol, drugs, crime and immorality are causing ripples upon God's sea of love and serenity, distorting the true imagee of His creation.

Are you one of those who has a distorted view of life?  Is your life filled with confusion, discontent and complications?  You cannot draw correct answers from the troubled waters of this world.  Look up friend - Jesus is the answer.

"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" Romans 10:9.

God Bless all, love in Christ, Sister Betty

When I read this I thought of the song we use to sing in church, when we were children.

‘Don’t lose your vision of Jesus; keep your eyes ever on him.

Many friends and dear loved-ones have lost their way, they have lost their vision of him.?IMG height=19 src="emnote.gif" tppabs="http://sc.communities.msn.com/themes/pby/img/emoticons/emnote.gif" width=19>

Remember the wonderful times we had in the church in Coalman Texas. Little did we realize back then- the foundation of faith that was being imparted into our heart and spirit. That is what sustains us this day. We give honor to our Mother, Aunts and Uncles,

And Glory to God, for our upbringing.
