These are my three children, aged 5, 4 and 2.  The youngest died aged 7, the other two are now grown.  The one in blue is a 32 year-old mum of 3, and the first Mothers' Day after her little sister died, she gave me a hand made card (she was 10), in it she wrote, "Happy Mothers Day mum, don't worry, I have enough love for Hayley as well as me, for you."  It so touched my heart, and I still have that card.  Yesterday, she gave me the following:
 MUM

When I was little, you were always there when I needed you.
If I was wrong, you told me, but you also stood beside me.
Your love and support were steady and strong.
There were times when we did not agree, but I always knew your love for me guided you in your decisions.
Now that I am older your love and support are just as important to me.
I need you as much as I ever have and knowing you are there is a constant source of comfort for me.
You are more than my Mother, you are my very dearest friend.

Isn't that beautiful - it had me in tears.  She didn't write it, she found it on a little card, and it doesn't say who wrote it, but she said that it said it all for her, and she meant every word as if she did write it.

I praise the Lord for my lovely kids, they are a true blessing.
