A FEW OF THE GREATEST THINGS ABOUT MEME......

The best thing I loved about meme, was she was always on my side. Even when I had been bad, she would help me argue my case with my mother. I loved to lay on the bed with her and eat fritos corn chips (meme toes) as I called them, while she worked her puzzle or play a good game of wahoo. I remember packing my gown, my games and going off to her house on the weekends. And of course the time I packed my things and ran away to live with her, because my parents did not understand me, were being unfair or just plain mean ( I was only 5 at the time and she lived across the yard). However, that's beside the point. I know when I got to her house, I told her why I was in trouble and why I ran away and she said, "Well, I just won't stand for you being treated that way". She gave me some fritos and I was just fine. At least till I had to go back across the yard (It was getting dark).  I knew I could go to my meme in times of trouble. She would give me advice and scripture. She always reminded me that she wasn't the only one that loved me, Jesus did too. I also loved the house shoes she knitted for me, the baby doll she made me and her egg custurd was the best.
