My mother served God with boldness and faith that did not waver. Her Motto was “my God don’t lie?/P>
There is not enough pages or time to write all the things I remember about Mother. But here are just a few that I recall the most. Mother had Cancer; the Dr’s had sent her home so that we could have Christmas two weeks early-they said she would not be alive by Christmas. All the Family was there and she ask us to believe in prayer on her behalf that God would heal her and let her live so that she could raise her Children (there were 5 of us left at home) God did as we had asked and she was healed!! This was in 1951(I believe) in 1972? The Dr’s said she had Cancer of the bladder. Mother refused to believe this and she told all who would listen ?My God don’t lie?he healed me of Cancer-
In 1951. I personally called the Dr and ask him what they
had found, he told me all the test and X-ray showed a cancer about the size of a large grape fruit and she would die if she did not have the operation. All of the Children finally talked her into having the operation. All the while Mother was denying that it was cancer. ?I don’t know what it is they have found but I know it is not cancer, my God healed me in 1951 and my God don’t lie?was the last words we heard her say as they wheeled her into the operating room. Later the doctor came back smiling and shaking his head-- “she was right?he said. “It was not Cancer, just a big blob of infection? I walked into the recovering room and kiss mother on the check, “mom you were right there was on cancer!! “My god don’t lie,?she said as she drifted back to sleep. Thanks mom your #14 child--redda
