Aunt Nettie and Uncle Foy, were a great influence in my life. Right now, the thing that comes to my mind(odd-I know) is the first time I ever tasted 'black liquorish' Candy hehe. Uncle Foy gave me a bag of this candy...Aunt Nettie made me share with Betty and Ginger I love you Aunt Nettie Mae |

Hello All, Nettie Mae is my grandmother.I remember her to be a real stickler when it came to sharing, a lesson she taught me early in life. Lord help you if there was foul language involved.I could tell you a few of those times , but those are painful memories. Thank you Grandmother you've given me the step up in life that I needed. I have'nt seen you in a very long time but there is not a day goes by that I don't think of you, Love you lots. The last time I seen her she jokingly told me I was still an ole heathern, but I had it coming. yall take care ,I think this is a great place to visit. |

Thank You for sharing with us. Yes your grandmother (My aunt Nettie Mae), kept us all streight when we were kids and jokingly call us pet names,,mine was "child of the devil",,because I was always picking at her and I was still in the world back then. When I came back to the Lord, I mailed her a poem I wrote just for her and signed it "Child of God", they say she shouted for days hehe. I sure love that woman!! |
