Creamy Chicken Casserole
1 pkg. egg noodles
1/2 cup chopped onion sautéed in 1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup flour stirred in
6 oz can mushrooms drained & using liquid
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups light cream
Cook and stir until mixture thickens, add cooked egg noodles, the mushrooms, 3 cups cooked chicken, 1/4 cup chopped pimientos, 2 tablespoons snipped parsley, season with salt, pepper, no-salt all purpose seasoning to taste, and top with seasoned buttered bread crumbs & shredded mozarella cheese. Heat uncovered in 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly.
(may substitute olive oil for butter)
Serve with garlic toast and favorite salad.
