Each life has turning points and each one begins with a death.  The moment comes with the question; What next?

My first turning point was the day my brother JD drowned.  Everything about that day is crystal clear, haunting, painful, harsh, hateful. But, that was the day I learned that I had no choice, but to grow up without him. That was the day when everything unknown and new began.

Of the four children still at home. I was the oldest now, I felt that I had to be strong for my two Sisters and one Brother younger than I, who would need me to love and comfort them, to be there for them, and help them grow. We bonded more after that, became closer and dependent on each other.  Here we are today, adults witnessing for God, in Granny's Place...Who would have thought it??  God did!! thats who..  It all flows from Easter, the miracle that changes each one of our lives.. God Bless you all here at Granny's Place      ....            The above was written by my sister(Betty) I took the liberty of copy and pasting it on this page The memories of my brother dying is painful>>>but it tells much more then, sorrow that we all suffered. It shows just how Big God was(and is) in this family The more I look back, the more I stand amazed. How 'Dear' God must have been to my mother.I now know the full value of the Word Of God that say's "I will never leave you or forsake you". Dear God I thank you for being there for My Mother, you know the pain,  (the loss) of a Son Thank you for giving us a Mother, who never stopped praying for her Children I thank you for the memories; of coming in from school or play and finding my mother on her knee's ..praying and praising (at the top of her voice)I remember I was a little ashamed(what will the neighbor's think?) And I know that, on the day you welcomed her homeyou were not 'ashamed' to call her your Child...Thank You God....redda

((BUMP))  I bumped this up to save it from being archived (lost, because this MSN program deletes messages that are a year old)
