 I remember my first swing set. Given to me by Bubba. He made it from the frame of a gas station sign, you know the old ones where the numbers swung freely. He removed the numbers and hung chains and a board. I was probably two years old. I remember swinging on that swing and Bubba and Aunt Sue pushing me on it.

I remember Bubba and I. Riding down a long hill (when we lived in Killeen, TX) In a wagon he made out of old tricycle wheels & lumber. He would stand at the top of the hill; give me a big push. Saying “Jack & Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water, Jack fell down & broke his crown, Jill came tumbling after!! Well let me tell you ‘folks?little ‘Jack?almost killed little ‘Jill?cause two of the wheels flew off, and so did I. Love ya?Bubba yo?sis redda

Hi, Uncle Bubba, I remember a few things too.  Some of them not as interesting as mama flying off a wagon, but little things that hide in my collection of memories.

I remember meeting Faith when she was 5 months old at meme's when she lived in Sunser Terrace (I think that was the name) in Brownwood.  And I remember staying at your house when I was 11.  What I remember most is there was a little girl at your house one time, I think her real name was Diana, (Let me know her real name if I got it wrong) I am not for sure because I called her, "Piano".  I remember playing under the kitchen table while all the adults were sitting at it talking.  I remember you ducking your head under the table and saying, "Beth,baby, what is her name?"  pointing to Diana.  And I replied to you, "Diana"  You said, "No, baby, what do you usually call her?"  I said, "Diana."  You looked at the rest of the adults and said, "She's not going to do it.  She usually calls her Piano."  You were wanting to show me off, and I didn't let you.  Sorry

REDDA;
Foot racing was our special activity as kids!!!!!!!
she was a sore loser when we 4 kids played baseball,,ha"
SUSIE;
We called her [Tiny Sue],,she was my punching bag,hehe" she was like Redda,a sore loser in our games, folding her arms and threatening to run away, curly hair bouncing as she shook her head back & forth indicating, no I won! and her freckles darkening in the evening sunshine.
Betty;
Our fearless leader,her and I chasing Daddy's cow
 in the woods on a Mountain overlooking Belton Lake, that was in the middle 50's so much more I would like to tell about; We had grown bro.& sisters in Tex.& California; But as a starter, if I ever write our stories, I can remember more in details than the girls who helped mama (Alma) raise me; Susie humbled me by telling on me for punching her; I did not dare try that with Betty & Redda; I really was proud to be the brother of those 3! Our icons were our grown Bro. & sisters who all played music [the
Felts'] we were Bishops & proud to tell of our grown siblings...
By the way Redda we didn't get far in daddys Ford pickup pushing the starter button which ran the battery down,,the starter button on the dash would make the pickup roll farward without the ignition key being on & the floor shift in first gear as daddy left it,,hehehe
blessings to the readers....

I copied and moved the first message written by Bubba, and reposted it in message #6
It was too wide and we had to scroll across with the bottom bar to read it. I removed all the excess blank spaces to make it fit the page Love Betty
