I remember alot about Meme!

But one Christmas stands out more than others!

It was her last Christmas with us.

She always wore thoses shoes , the plain "granny" slipper type shoes....

I needed a new pair of shoes as did Meme.

She got her check as always and paid the bills she had due,

The money that was left should have been spent on her,

 but the loving woman she was, used it to buy me a pair of shoes!

They came from a variety store in comanche tx.

They were a sandel type shoe.

Not expensive to anyone except me...

They were perferct!

I am a little vage on the details seeing how I was only 8 years old!

But I will never forget my variety store sandels!

 

Meme, I love and miss you very much!

We are quite due a wahoo game!

Someday we shall be together again!
