You know, there is not a day that goes by that I don't remind myself of what God did for my son and my family.  I truly believe that I received the ultimate Jabez Prayer.  The Lord has Blessed me indeed, and because of what he has done, I have been able to "Broaden my Territory" by witnessing to so many about the miracle he performed in our lives.  Another testimony in regard to the miracle is what the Chaplin who was at the hospital by the time we arrived shared with me.  He was there before my husband and myself was.  He knew that Chance was not alive, just as we did.  He was there to help us get through our loss.  Several weeks after the accident, he invited us to his church, the paramedics who attended to Chance that night, and several others.  He wanted all to be there to see the little boy that they had all been praying for.  After the service, he shared with me that he had just finished reading the book "Prayer of Jabez" and he woke that morning and prayed that prayer.  Little did he know that he would be witnessing a miracle that very night.  There was so many people who heard about it.  Dallas Children's hospital featured the story in the Summer Issue of the seasonal magazine that publish.  The PAX TV network featured our also on the TV Program "It's A Miracle."  I have wrote the story in its entirity so that I can give it to Chance one day.  There was so much that we went through--so many emotions.  One thing that I would like for you all who read this to pray for is that one day the horrible memories that still come to my mind will go away.  Never, Never do I want to focus on those, but they too were there.  They remind me of what God did for my son.  I cannot get the picture of him out of my mind when I saw that he wasn't alive.  It only enhances the miracle that I know God performed.  Chance had so many wires hooked up to him, and all the cadallic machines could not pick up a pulse.  They couldn't because it was not there.  After he was pronounced dead, God stepped in and breathed life into him--just as he did Adam.  As the nurse prepared his body for us to be with him, and all the machines had been taken off of him, she reached for his hand that was dangling off the bed and as she lifted it on top him, then at that instance she detected a slight pulse.  A pulse that -- like I said --  the cadallic machines could not.  There is not a doubt in my mind that Chance's life was over, but God has chosen him for something and one day many will reap the rewards of God's harvest.

With Love to you all,
Mary

Since we have so many new members that have joined our group, I thought that I would share the story of my son's miracle with them.  I posted it some times back, but deleted it for storage purposes, but now realize that I need to keep it on here now that I understand how this room works.  Many of you have already read it, but I wanted to share it with our new members also.  Now that I do, I need to also some day get Juanelle to write a Testimony about the miracle that God performed on James, her son.  It is a very touching and uplifting story of God's wonderful mercy.

Since the story about my son Chance has been aired on the PAX TV Network for "It's A Miracle," I still to this day have people comment on what God has done for my family.  I think it's important for everyone to know that we made no money for the making of this show, but if we had it would have went to Charity.  The Show was to first "expand our territory" and witness about God's goodness, and number two, warn others of the dangers of sandpiles.

God Bless You All--
Mary

Hello Every One...

I wanted to share a story with you all and one that hits close to home with me.  Please be in prayer for this family as I have just a hint of what they are going through.  As most of you know, my son was the victim of a sandpile on February 9, 2001.  He was buried for two hours, prounounced dead, and resurrected again by our heavenly father.  When our story was published in the newspaper and aired on "It's A Miracle" the message was two-fold.  First, to let people know that miracles still happen today and secondly to warn others about sandpiles.  I guess we all ask the question Why do some outcomes differ but only our God in heaven has the answer.

This story hits at my heart and my prayers really do go out to this family.  I wish I could tell every single child and their parents in this world about the danger of sandpiles.  I must do more!  With your help, please help me do this! Please pass this story on to others!  It could very well save a child's life!

Eastland Youth Dies In Sand Incident (As reported on K-Tab News, Friday, October 11, Eastland, TX)
Funeral services are pending for a 13-year old Eastland boy who was buried under a pile of sand Tuesday evening. 13-year old Eric Shoe died Thursday morning at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth.  Eric was buried under a pile of sand after a tunnel he was digging collapsed. Fire officials say he was trapped head first under the sand for fifteen minutes before being rescued and rushed to the hospital.
