I am reading a newly published book that is talking about a chinese herb they use to stop the desire for alcohol, that when mixed with some often used American drug cuts out the brains psychologial craving for good.
In the patients it takes to.
Although this book in unfinished and fiction I checked out it's references coz I'd read this posting and they seemed legit.
At the risk of sounding paranoid, does curing addictions really serve the purpose of those who benefit from our habit? The politicians, the traders/importers, the pharmacutical companies?
Alot of people stand to loose if the world gets clean.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,,,
I heard that about a month ago...Its supposed to be less addicting then all the other treatment drugs...Since I do not believe in replacement addiction in the name of treatment I didnt pay much attention...Hell,,,I wish the powers that be would legalize heroin ,,regulate it like alcohol and allow the private sector to do its thing....Maybe someday?......FC

I think it's just Buprenorphine Jackie..some states are just beginning to hand it out..not sure but maybe that's what it is. I also heard something about it and when I read it it was Bup..here's the article.
