Sorry just saw my email from Domino's pizza for 2-for-Tuesday so thought I'd title the post that.  No other reason! lol

Weird day here.  B is pretty sick.  Needed to get my car inspected and also a two-hour school delay so I asked my parents if they'd meet me at the car place so I could borrow their truck to take B to doctor.  Well after I dropped off C at school I heard this little beep noise from my van and it locked itself!  I'm assuming it got a signal from someone else's clicker or something.  Called my mom but my dad already left and they don't use cell phones.  So I knew he'd be at the car place waiting for me to show up.  Luckily it isn't too far from the school and I wore a coat and gloves for once (many times I just wear a sweatshirt over a pajama top).  Also luckily there are sidewalks all the way there but I did manage to re-twist my ankle that's already messed up.  So I walked in the snow (normal for you, a big deal for me!) and we had to go to my house, get the extra key, get the van, drop it off at the car place, I took my dad home, went back and got Braeden and managed to get to the dr only 15 minutes late - I called and they were okay with me being late.  His strep test was negative - I think he has what I"ve had for over 3 weeks now.  Plus his stomach really hurt so it sounds like something else with it too.

Oh and once I had my dad's truck, I almost wrecked it twice in the snow - I kept wondering why it was so o ut of control and realized that the floor mat was caught on the gas pedal just enough to make it go too fast so even while I was hitting the brakes the gas pedal was being pressed too.  that would have totally sucked to wreck their truck!  And we got back from the dr and I realized B had locked the house up when he left - I have no key - but I got lucky again and the door wasn't all the way shut.  Considering I have my parents' key from last time it was locked and the key is inside I couldn't even have been rescued by them.  We w ould have had to go sit at their house all day with him sick.

They are insepcting the van today and once we know how much work it will need to pass we'll know whether we're going to sell it outright or trade it in tomorrow on our new car.  Scott wants to sell it outright and take a $2,000 loss, I'm leaning towards trading it in for a $4,000 loss which would suck but we'd be rid of her and who knows if we'd actually be able to sell it outright.  Especially before something goes wrong like the transmission or something that we'd have to put more money into her.

Okay they  just called just this minute - $250 to pass inspection and another $450 for brakes very soon even though they'll pass soon.  So we need to make a decision!

My house is destroyed and gross. I'm on here hoping to get motivated to clean.  I would really like to have a clean house if we have a snow day tomorrow.  I hate when it bleak and cold and dreary PLUS dirty on a snow day.  But I don't have a ton of energy.  I think I'll just putter.  Braeden is being pretty good but a tiny bit needy but nothing like a younger child would be.  I jsut feel like if he says he wants soda or soup I should run and get it even though he's not feeling so bad, just so his memory of being sick is his mommy taking care of him, you know what I mean?

couldn't put clothes in dryer - they hadn't washed yet (forgot i was soaking them).  started washer, wipe down boys' bathroom.  not super great and didn't do tub or wash floor but better than it was.  next up, i'll do a 50 pickup in the laundry room and kitchen/dining room, plus wash down all the counters and sweep.  back around 2 i hope.

put clothes in dryer.  picked up  60 things in laundry room and kitchen.  wiped down counters.  didn't sweep.  talked to my mom, car place, and scott.  checked on braeden whose stomach hurts a lot.

going to pick up 50 more things from anywhere.  that should be manageable.  then i have to pick up c, drop him off here, go get my mom and have her bring me back here so she can have her truck back.  we are getting van fixed, the $250 worth anyway plus getting emissions inspected for another $40.  inspection costs $20 so that's about $310 into it.  i need to sell it soon!  before we have to put $450 into it for brakes.

Hi, I wish I checked on here sooner! Yesterday and today, I've been having motivated days but I've had no energy :( Had a disasterous painting experience (kids painting) that will require me to touch up a wall because the paint stained it. augh It needed to be touched up anyways.

Anyways, I wonder if I'm coming down with something because I'm so wiped and my head feels so weird. But, I want to get stuff done!!!

Man, sounds like quite the morning!! Hope you're able to figure out what to do with the van. I'd likely go the trading it in route too, just so you can be done with it. In my experiences, Andrew's wanted to hold onto things to sell and we end up keeping them around for a year and I give them away anyways!! Quite a bit different than a vehicle but same sort of idea...?! Didn't you try selling the van already?

I'm going to make a tada list cause I'm feeling really sucky lately:
-made choc. chip muffins
-made no bake cookies that I've eaten way too much of but it was a craving, the tons of sugar could be why I feel like poop
-2 loads into wash, both into dryer
-stripped beds
-did the normal school/morning routine
-filled up paint containers
-spent about 1/2 hr, here and there, dealing with organizing the crafts... I have 2 boxes of craft stuff in the garage that I'm hoping to empty plus I'm trying to clean up the drawers and paint containers
-took chicken out for supper, brought in apples as I have to make applesauce to go with the chicken
-kept up with the dishes though I have a few to do because of baking

I think that's it... still don't feel like it's a lot and my house is trashed still. I'm starting to hate having no carpets cause I feel like I have to sweep a million times a day to keep up with it! We sweep and 15 mins later, dust or something shows up and that's without eating!!!

Soooo, what should we do about our group?!? I don't want to lose all the posts though I can't say I'll ever go back and look at my stuff. lol But, I definitely don't want to lose this group. I hope some day, Jac and Gabriele can touch base here and there cause it's cool to keep in touch :)

Anyways, gotta leave in about 10 mins and I should wipe off the table and sweep under it before I get the kids from school so it doesn't get 100 times worse. Plus, gotta take the muffins out of the tins before they stick and maybe if I have time, cut up fruit to go with the snack.

Did you get a snow day?! I heard on the radio that PA is supposed to get 30cms or so! That's almost double what they are predicting for us and that's a fairly big deal here. We got about 5 cms over night (I dont' think we did but that's what they said) and it just started snowing pretty steady.

We always get these snow storms on days when I've got a butt-load of things to do!! Plus, Timmy was up a good chunk of the night, throwing up :( His first experience throwing up (outside of reg. baby stuff.) We think it's just phlegm related but we'll see once I get some breakfast into him. He's in a good mood right now and just had a shower with Andrew.

I've got quite a bit of stuff to do... my newly made bed has to be taken apart again. lol I swear, kids do all they can to work against you! I've had the same bedsheets on our bed since before Christmas, I think and finally change them, including taking off the duvet cover, etc. AHHH

I think I'll feel dead tired tomorrow because of not sleeping well last night so I'm hoping to get done as much as I can today, plus take our kitty to Em's class and take D to swimming. I have a meeting at 7 that I'll go to if Timmy is good. Andrew will take the girls to volleyball. They may be changing school zones, etc and my girls' school is affected so I want to stay in the loop with these meetings. One of our schools in the area burnt down last year but it only held just over 100 students. Another school is operating at 125% capacity or something ridiculous like that. We badly need a new school built and yet they are dragging their feet. I think there's a good change they'll change our boundaries as we live about a 3 min. walk to a k-6 school yet we're slated to go to one that takes a good 15 mins to walk to (plus crossing a fairly busy street that doesn't have a crossing guard.) While we moved to this house so we could stay in the old school zone, after having to deal with the walk for a few months now, I'd welcome being switched to this other school (plus it's newer and nicer looking!) I'm also finding people don't choose my house for daycare because I live so far from the school. Now, I'd have no troubles finding kids if we went to the other school. heck, I've seen lots of people asking for care and I'd take their kids if it wasn't for the tricky bell times. It would be nice with the new baby plus Timmy who'll likely still need to be in a stroller, to have a MUCH shorter walk!!

Ack, I'm a blabber mouth today. Going to try to start a load in the wash, make Em's lunch, get D and T fed and start chipping away at my disasterous kitchen. augh So many dishes that I just left cause I was beat. I still have kids' paint on the counter that just needs to be put away now that I've filled them up.

Hope you have a good day! I'll likely be on here and there.

we got a snow day.  i need to catch up reading.  every time i want to get on it's too cold, c has my computer, or the computer is acting crazy (monitor keeps going to sleep).  this AM i couldn't get msn on this computer, only my dh's and i can't stand typing on his!.

i have to go get c but i'm still here.  if we lose this group it will suck bigtime but we can start a new one somewhere else.  just keep my email address, i hope mine for you is current.  we'll email jac and gabriele the new group and they can come over when they're ready.  i'm not sure if multiply will work - it's not what we're used to.  yahoo might be better but it's defintely not as nice as msn.

gotta go  back later

I gotta head out the door but thought I'd check in quickly. I'm good with anything re:the group. I have some groups on yahoo so I'm familiar with that. I never did check out that group on multiply cause I had to sign up for it and didn't have the time to go through the whole registration process.

Timmy is getting better, slowly, I think. He's been sleeping since 12:30!! I gotta wake him up and put him in some clothes (we had a shower so he's just wrapped up in blankets and a diaper), address an envelope (I'm finally mailing off the Costco info for my parents... yay, procrastination thing off my list!) and then head out. Shoot, I wanted to give myself enough time to mail stuff and pick up my mail. Hmm, I could be pushing it.

It's a PD Day tomorrow so not sure if I'll be on then. I might be able to pop in!
