No you get way more snow.  We usually get a couple of storms in January and February.  Last year I don't think we really got anything.  We may get flurries before Christmas but not usually anything on the road or barely on the grass.  My kids made "mulch" snowmen for the last snowstorm and for this time of year even that was a big deal.  They are still out there - mostly dirt and mulch lol.  And if we get real snow we almost always get a snow day if there's any at all on the roads.  Not as quickly as in Maryland an hour south.  There we got a snowday if it even looked like snow!

I'm trying to wrap but it's going so slow.  And I put hair on my puppet (that sounds gross lol).

Braeden would probably care more about the camping stuff if he didn't already have a sleeping bag and access to a good tent.  We have two tents so he pretty much has one if he wants it.  It's just that I think everything together that Scott got him weighs 7 lbs or something like that so it's easy to carry.

Hamburger soup, bread, chicken, and potatoes are all a big deal to me.  I'm proud if I make grilled chicken (which is basically throwing it in a bag with dressing and then tossing it in the oven on a pan), instant rice and canned veggies.  If I buy a pineapple or watermelon I wait days and days to avoid cutting it.  So lazy!  Even making mac and cheese, which someone on our old Flylady soup called "lazy mom's lunch" is real cooking to me since it involves pots and pans and multiple steps (the kind I buy doesn't havethe microwave directions).  To me, lazy mom's lunch at the time was peanut butter crackers or hell, just crackers!!!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who destroys the kitchen to bake.  It's just that you bake constantly.  I hate measuring with those little spoons.  It seems like I dirty the whole bunch to measure one thing.  Or I need four different ingredients with 1 tsp so I end up dirtying four bunches of spoons (yes, I own four bunches from laziness) to avoid washing the spoon while in the middle of cooking!

Chane just told me his brain hurts.  I'm gonna look at my list to make sure there's nothing immediate and go back to wrapping a few gifts.  I'd at least like to get one person's totally done.  I only have to wrap for Chane, Braeden, and Meemaw but it still seems like a lot.  Then one gift each for a couple of other people - my sister, my friend, and my sister's two boys.  Like i said, LAZY!
