We adopted Annie from a neighbor who couldn't keep Annie safe in her yard because she kept escaping. She has never tried to escape our yard, maybe because we appreciate her for all the wonderful things she is.

    Annie is well behaved, walks on a verbal lease, runs through neighbors sprinklers during the summer (the ones that don't mind), tries to sneak up on squirrels like a cat and still walks about a mile in her senior years. She gets dog biscuits with a little peanut butter each morning, loves carrots as a mid-day snack and loves salmon with her meals. In her younger years Annie loved chasing her four cat companions around the yard and up trees. She still tries this once in a while but running is not so good on her joints anymore. Annie is the best dog we have ever known. She is our Queen and we love her so.
