I have sent her many gifts for Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day,Easter and her Birthday.
When her daughter graduated high school and college
I sent a gift to her, when her son graduated high school I sent a gift to him. Every Christmas I always give her son & his girl who will his wife by 3:00 PM today gifts and her daughter I give gifts too. I could not send any wedding gifts I had a lot of medical expenses when I cut my finger and other bills. In one of her emails she mentioned her other pen pal send a gift, well if I could I would. I was hurt how she could even say this to me. I have never met her son or her. We are just pen pals and for her to expect me to send something was very out of line. I felt hurt since I always do my best to remember her on the above special holidays and from time to time
we have send a box of this great candy to her to cheer her up. This is why this hurt me. I hope & pray she realizes she hurt me saying this to me. God knows I do the best I can wish it could be more but unfortunately I can only do so much,
