The more I look at this the more I like it. I'm using the color version as my desktop wallpaper now and plan to make a large-format copy of it to hang on the wall. Still haven't decided on BW or color, though. |

For the office wall? I like it in b&w format. b & w gives more quietude... is like an engineering study... the color version, as naturally occuring, is excitble & brash... to my eye, at least. So you didn't literally ask... this was fun all the same. lol |

Thanks for the opinion, Star. I've been leaning toward the BW, too. There's an old rule of thumb that you should usually photograph natural things in black and white and man-made things in color. The juxtaposition of the man-made pipeline in this wilderness setting makes is tough to decide, but the patterns and form may make black and white the better choice... |

I like the way the lines play and curve in the B&W..of course, I am a big fan of B&W photography. |

I like both!!! I'd have to see what your office looks like to pick...the black and white is nice, I think it draws more attention to the eye. Good shot, John! |

I've decided to get a large-format BW print for my office wall. Now I'm thinking that I'll crop out most of the water in the foreground. I think that this is what I'll actually hang on the wall. |

I like that, SD. The perspective is great. |

Yep. nothing like good, well-contrasted black and white for drama. And this shot is very dramatic. |
