Cody, the oldest, really enjoyed his first day. He has 3 different teachers, but he doesn't change classes, they come to him. Seth, the younger, wasn't so enthused.He started crying when Voo asked how his first day went. "I didn't finish ANY of my classwork, and I lost my homework sheet.I'm Not going back to school!!" Well, he finally settled down, we got home ,ate, and as a special treat, we gave him a root beer. I poured it in a glaas with ice. He picked it up, it slipped and spilled all over him, the table and the floor. He threw his hands up, started crying, AGAIN, and ran off to bed highly upset. Needless to say the rest of the week has been much better. So how was your child's first day? |

school here doesnt start for the girls and i until next week , but i have a full day of registration today and then work the next three nights my 10pm to 7am shift.....i'll keep ya'all posted. |

Our high school doesnt start for another week yet but we are moving my daughter into her dorm room today............  She is starting college next friday. Sure going to be strange not having her here with me after 18 years. She will be going to the school of Pharmacy at the University of Toledo. GO ROCKETS !! Wade |

The kids started the 29th! They had a great day. I found out that none of Lucas' friends were in his class and theone kid i requested not to be with is in it! I wanted to choke someone, but then i breathed deeply and thought...ok we'll TRY IT. I f it doesnt work I can go in and push them. I wont go "backward" ever again, We have come too far for that!! SO far he loves his teacher, and sees his friends at lunch and recess. Yea God! The most important times besides gym for a 4th grader...lol. SPencer started 7th, has 8 classes, moves to each one all day long. Loves his french class and science, says algebra is cool..(definitely not my child ). He is trying out for the soccer team-loves the workout (again, not my child). Ill let you know if he makes it. Lauren started her sophmore year (such a great young lady!) Has French,AM Systems,Geometry, and Band/chorus. To find out her history teacher from last year,switched to teaching AM sysytems this year (oh GOODY- NOT!) If he rocks the boat I am in there!! grrrr!! She has a "boyfriend" yikes! HAd to tell dad while IM'ing...that was fun!!  He said, anything new? i said, you sitting down? LOL They have friday and monday off...for labor day. Just gonna hang and relax. take care, Snow |

I just reread the boys first day of school 2005, thank goodness 2007 was much better. Seth loves, and I mean loves his new teacher. He must, he's showering every night without being told. Hell, I have to make him get out of the shower. He says she looks like " the woman that plays on Old Christine." I personally never thought Julia Louise Dreyfus was ever all that.But if it keeps him liking school, I ain't gonna say anything. Cody is in year 2 of home schooling and his teacher IS HOT!! Same time next year, y'all. |

Oh man I so envy you all with the kids going back to school before labor day. Mine don't start back til tomorrow. Today is going to be my mad dash to get everything they need to start tomorrow. Yeah I know I'm last minute nelly here.. its busy around here when both of us are working full time and you have had house guests for the last almost 6 months now :( . So I will be shopping most of today.. yay me I so HATE going shopping of any kind especially when the kids have to go with me. Sashie |
