I'm so glad I'm not the only one crying, lol. I had to leave the school this morning because Seth's teacher cried when she opened his gift to her, and I started crying. Today is Seth's last day with the teacher he has had since kindergarden. He will go to the 3rd grade next year. She is like a part of our family! She was also Cody's k-2 teacher, so it is really hard to say goodbye!! I left Seth with her for the morning, and will go back at noon to pick him up. He wanted to stay and she said she would take good care of him, so I couldnt tell them no. We promised to visit often, but its not going to be the same next year. Thank goodness Seth is moving on to another wonderful teacher!! Cody is also going to have a good teacher next year. As for the graduations, I'll cry about that next year at this time as Cody is going into the 5th grade. I'll pass around the tissue!! I knew it was gonna be a long week, just didnt plan on it being this emotional!! |

Well all the graduation stuff is over now and everything is sort of back to normal. I spent more time in school that last week than I did when I was going to school !! If I went to school three days in a row the principle would call me in and drill me for an hour to see what was up. Anyways I got to brag some or I'll bust. My daughter graduated validictorian of her class and won too many honors to list. She got 7 class keys for math, science, social studies, band, top ten, Spanish, and validictorian. and many scholorships (thank God) She even got a card from the president telling her what a great job she has done. She has maintained a 4.0+ GPA her whole school career while playing three sports including pole vaulting in track. She got the National Honor Society sash and honors pin. It was a day to remember. Popped all the buttons off my shirt that day ! More importantly than her grades and honors, she is a nice kid. I never get around folks that know her that they don't tell me what a great girls she is. I know she will be a mover and a shaker in this world and will do something great in her life time. She's a pretty darn good MOPAR mechanic too LOL Well before I make anyone sick I will close and hope the swelling in my head goes down soon so I can get up the stairs to bed LOL Wade |

Okay, now that the girls are all pretty much done with their summer activities, (oldest gets home July 8th). i guess i can brag a bit. Bri ~ 16 ~ is still at UND, but is doing great her GPA is still a 3.5 and she has even gotten better in Math. This is great considering that two years ago she wanted to quit school. Mary-Ann ~ 13 ~ brought all her grades up and will be starting 8th grade in August, she had a kick~ass time on her hiking/camping trip and took some awesome pics, that i am going to scan later and post a few. Desi ~ 10 ~ will be going into 5th grade and she also had a great time Camping and wants to go again next year. i still dont know much of whats going on with the boys because they dont talk to me much, so there isnt any new news there. | | | | | | | |

Jessica is doing very well in college so far. The first 6 weeks has gone by already and she has managed to keep her A average in all her classes. I expect she will make the Dean's List. I am very proud of her. Just ask me LOL |

Look what I did !! I made this kid!! LMAO Jessica Jennings, DHS class of 2005 valedictorian, has been named to the Dean's list - College of Pharmacy, University of Toledo, FALL semester 2005. In the letter accompanying the certificate from the Dean of Pharmacy - Jessica was congratulated on her fine academic achievement and encouraged to keep up the good work. Jessica is the daughter of Wade & Claire Jennings of Dundee. Thank You Very Much !!!! The swelling in my head should go down in a few days. I got this article out of the Dundee Ripsnorter.......wonder who put it in there??? hehehe |
