Hey all I could use some help for a good friend of mine. He has been my buddy for near 30 years and he isnt taking the loss of his mom too well. I am going to Canton Ohio in the morning for the funeral and to be with John afterward. John could use all the help he can get as he nursed her for nearly a year and his dad too. They are a close family so some prayers for John's strength and his family would be kool.
Thx

Wade

Thx He was doing pretty good when I left this morning. We sat up all night talking and remembering stupid stuff we have done over the last 30 years .....LOL
I'm sure he will be ok, he just needed a break from the stress.
Thanks for thinking of him. He may be a dumbass Buckeye but I still like him........

He'll be coming up in a few weeks if he can get someone to take care of his dad for a few days. That should be fun.

He's doing ok. He is taking care of his dad still who is not doing all that great. John is tuff and will come thru this fine. None of us ever think our folks are going to get old and be like that. It's kind of a shock when reality hits ya. My own folks are in their late 70's now and I can see them deteriate before my eyes so I spend as much time with them as I can now.  Think of John from time to time and ask for a little help. Thanks for askin.

My dad turned 75 this past March. Officially he retired in '92.However, my mom ,who will be 73 in November, has had medical problems and as sad as it sounds, even with his and her social security and our worthless Medicare system, he still works 2 days a week to try and keep up with their medical bills.
I love my parents very much, and to think of either of them being bed-ridden or dying just doesn't seem a possibility.
That's why I always say enjoy your family, tell them you love them and don't take life for granted. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow.
Tell John we're thinking of him and he and his dad are in our prayers.
        Later, friend.
