Sigh. It occurred to me this morning that if I had buns of steel, and fingers of steel, and put Shakespeare Homer in the kitty koncentration kamp, I could drive to Tampa tomorrow to see the meerkat pup. If only ...... Jt, do you have any idea what the baby's name is? S/he is sooooo adorable. |

Hi Jt, love the pictures of the kats... You are so lucky to see a cute pupster. Did you notice my Lemur looks like it only has one eye. Sigh!!! Witty |

Yo It's so wonderful to see how they all want to take care of baby. They might need a few more weeks to properly sex him/her unless they can handle them. Do you know if your keepers handle the meerkats at all, Jane? I want pups! WAAAHHHH! Ok, sorry... I'm back in control now. Such a cutie, thanks Jane. Pronker |

I have never spoken to any keepers there. Maybe next time. I did get to zoom in on a pic and I think it's a boy. Sigh, it was so nice. I never get there at the time they feed, so I'm not sure how much they interact with the meerkats. Maybe you will have pups, pronker. We can hope! |

I have no idea, the next time I go I'll try and make contact with a keeper so I can learn more about them. |
