I needed to give everyone on here some huge updates on me! First today was the academic assembly and I recieved the Language Arts Department Student Of The Year award. So yeah...it was pretty cool. Some awards given out a ton of people got...but for this one it was just one student for each grade. So it was an award my teachers have chosen just for me...out of all the seniors in the school! They read a little paragraph about me...and I got a certificate and a pin...you know for the school jacket...that says academic excellence on it and my teacher got me this really nice journal. So yeah...I had a good day. I got my hair cut short yesterday...it turned out really cute. And I spent almost all of yesterday at Saint Lukes getting tests done. First I went to the GI specialist. Based on my symptoms she thinks I have early satiety, post prardial nausea, caused by gastroparesis and I also have some coloparesis and bile acid reflex. Yeah...lots of stuff and words I don't know what means. If you don't know I'll tell you what it means once I get the test results back to know if I even have it. They took an x-ray, took blood to test for celiac disease and various allergies, and then I had something done that took several hours. I had to fast..so I was so starving by this point. First I had to eat these eggs that had a tracer in them. Then I had to lie in...I don't know if it was an MRI or not...can't remember. It was this machine that I was in from the neck downish. I had to stay perfectly still and it was a bit noisy. But they were really cool too...I had a blanket and was able to watch Juno so it was easier to stay still because I had a distraction. We will get the results of all of these tests on Thursday. Tonight I have to drink this gross stuff....it's called a half lytely bowel prep, so yeah. My doctor has also put me on nexium, and wants me to take 2-3 milk of magnesia tabs a day. I'm to stop taking advil and ibprofen. So I'm not sure what I am supposed to take for my headaches. Anyways...hopefully on thursday I will have some answers for you. I have the cymbalta now...but I haven't started taking it because my doctor wants me to deal with this other stuff first. She said the stuff I have to drink will make me feel sick...cuz it's meant to clear me out so to speak...it's what you have to take before you have a colonoscopy. So hopefully I'll have answers soon as to some of my major stomach problems. Then when that's taken care of I'll see a rheumotologist to deal with my other stuff.
