Hello Everyone,
Yesterday was the most terrifying day I thik I have ever had. I live in Weld County Colorado, yes..the county that 7 tornados went thru yesterday early afternoon. Two of the tornados came with in a 1/4 mile of my home. I was lucky as many homes in Windsor Colorado were destroyed and 100's were left homeless and all of their belongings were gone....and one man was killed. My 15 year old daughter goes to High school in Windsor, they had a 15 minute warning thanks to 9News in Colorado and their Doppler radar...all the kids were safe in the high school and others as well. One very large day care took over 100 children across the street to a bank and they hid in the bank vault.....thats the beauty of small town Colorado, everyone jumped in and started helping from the start. With in one hour of the skys clearing yesterday they were already busy cleaning up and searching torn down homes for victims, all their were was cuts and bruses. I have lived her all of my life(55 years) and I have never seen weather like yesterday. I believe global warming is a real and is causing the bad weather around the world these days.
Safely
Frank

Hey Frank,

I am glad that you and your daughter are fine, and you lost nothing. I feel bad for all the people who had lost their belongins , and 1 poor man lost his life. To much going on in the world. Stay safe

Hi Mirage Angel,
Thank you for your concern. Actually the size and multitude of tornados for Northern Colorado is unusual. I live in Weld County Colorado, the largest county in the state and unfortunatly the most tornados in the state do come thru this area but they are very small, most are no more than dust devils and usually they travel in a north east direction....never north west!
As far as me, this has been the hardest year I have ever had, the year started out with me hyperextending my right knee. It was pretty bad so I went to the Dr and he just told me to go home, stay off of it and lay down and keep it elevated and on ice.Well, I did that for a few days then early one morning I woke up with sever pain in my left chest that was so severe I couldnt take a deep breath of air, it hurt real bad to just breath in general....the injured leg had filled up with blood clots and then the clots broke loose and went into both of my lungs. I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks and I am slowly getting stronger. I have to take blood thinners for the next year to disolve the remaining clots still in my right leg and lungs. The clots still do pose a threat but as long as I tkae my rat poison(blood thinner) and try to not hurt my self I should be alright. The blood thinning medicine actually is a form or rat poison and it does make me physically ill, cant wait till I dont have to take it.
As far as the RSD, its time for another upper eppidural...they really help with the back pain and it also helps with the burning in my arms. I can get one every 4 months, that also about how long they last "but" I cannot get a block untill I am off the blood thinners for a while (about 10 months from now) so for me, its suffer time again for a while. It was very nice to hear from you...really nice! Thank You!
Frank
