Hello everyone,

I am an old member but have had computer issues so was unable to get online until now.
Let me tell you a little about myself...

I have stage II RSD/CRPS in my left leg (toes to hip region.)  I also have a multitude of spinal conditions.
I have lived with RSD for 2 years now.  This disease has been a life altering situation for both myself, my husband and family.
I have had a L4,5/s1 spinal fusion with instrumentation, instrumentation removal surgery, a spinal cord stimulator trial and perminate implantation of the spinal cord stimulator generator.  I developed RSD following the spinal surgery to remove the screws and rods.  I awoke to being in stage II.  Life has not been the same since then.
I have came to find out quiet a bit about this syndrome through the past few years.  Most importantly, I have found out to NEVER GIVE UP.

Hi : My name is Dolores.. Well I hate to even mention that I have it since reading your message. It sounds like you are so much worse off than I am.. Did you have RSD before you had the surgery or did it just happen afterwards. Did you just go right to type II when you first got it? I am really new to all this and know very little about it except what I have read up on in the last few weeks.Don't know of any one that has it around here.  I  was only told a couple weeks ago after several docs that I have it. What I read it scary. I  think that I must be in the second stage also as I have limited range of motion in my shoulder and elbow now. I really thought that it was because of not using my hand and arm for so long. I had the shingles and that is what started the whole thing.  I will be thinking about you and have you in my prayers along with any one else with this big problem.  Dolores from Mo.
