I got hurt as an out-paitient in one of the big hospitals here.  Went to court my attorney sucked, and they asked 2 questions; Was the hospital negligent? I won that one.  The next question was were all my injuries related to the RSDS and it couldn't be proved b/c of being in 3 car accidents (from the disease) they said NO so I lost now I'm in Appelate court waiting to see what will happen.  Has anyone been in an Appelate court proceedings, know how long it takes?  I waited to go to court for 8 yrs and then the attorney didn't object too many things that I thought she should have.  Then she would ask me during the hearing if she should ask anything else-I was like WHAT?  Shouldn't she have the questions?  It was bad enough she never heard of RSDS that I had to send her tons and tons of info when I signed the contract. This information about her not knowing anything came after I signed the papers.  Does anyone think I would have a shot at suing them (the attorney).  Can anyone help me on; can I change lawyers if I get the appeal?  Is there anyway to inform the Appelate court about how she handled the case?  I'm scared my kids have lost a mom, my marriage broke-up and I can never work again.
