My PM is strongly recomending an SCS and I'm wondering if anyone has had or heard of RSD spreading into the area of the implant. That is my biggest worry. Tamara |

Heres what I have to tell you, about the SCS.My doctor had asked me for three months if Id like to try it. My answer was NO! Every time! I had know idea if it was good or bad for all the times ive searched the websites, read peoples opinions and etc. for two years, that I had time to research things and seen several doctors of course all had different opinions. Well on the fourth month that doctor says to me i,m glad your decisoin was not to have the SCS because they have been nothing but trouble, with this and that. Anyways, this is what I was told from a Pain Management Dr.. Hope everything works out for you!! May GOD Bless Us. All!!! Tina

I spoke to my doctor about the SCS. He said it would not be a good idea for me. Any incision can cause the spread of disease, so I stuck with my TENS unit, and visits to Sacramento for ECT. Feeling so good. I can ride my bike and lift weights again 3 days a week. Thankful for good doctors. Sylvia |
