Hi, this is my first time here and I am trying to learn about RSD. I have not been officially diagnosed with it as yet, but had gone for a bone scan about three weeks ago and just got the results back which say that my symptoms are correlated with RSD so I now have to go back to my orthopedic surgeon I guess t ohave it confirmed, who knows! To tell you my story, I fractured two bones in my left foot on March 7th of this year, was in a boot cast for eight weeks, and swelling has never gone down, it is still swollen to this day, and is also fairly painful. I would be interested in knowing what symptoms others have had and how it lead to their diagnosis, because as I said, I am very new to all of this and am just learning what it is all about. Thanks! |

I have been
away from puter for several days. Did anyone answer your
email?
I can tell
you that everyone has different symptoms, some have the same. Diagnosis in most
cases is extremely difficult especially if you have a doctor who is not versed
in RSD.
You are
going through the right steps so far. Being as RSD is a clinical diagnosis,
ruling out other possibilities is the first step doctors take. Unfortunately,
this leads to late diagnosis. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] or on the site

{{{{{{ KAREN }}}}}}}} sorry I am slow in answering!!!!! So sorry about the terrible dx. I have been sick,,, n also a very sick computer. Finally getting myself in gear again... Skin break down with the heat an such is no funn. We will do all we can too help you out. Remember that we all react too medicines n RSD in different ways.. I am feeling soo much better with the pain pump is unreal.. They turned it up again ,, Just Monday,, the affect is not yet hit me.. It will work.. Thank God for understanding drs.
