Hi, Sweetiebon!
I hope you're having a good day...or at least one where your pain levels are lower than what you've had. There are MANY, MANY, MANY ways with dealing with RSD and the pain it brings. One of the first things you need to do is make sure you are seeing the correct type doctor for RSD or, if the dr.'s your family doc., that he does a lot of reasearch on your behalf. Also, I don't know where you live, but do a search for pain management doctors within 100-150 miles from you. I know by now you're chin is dragging the floor on that one, but I've had a couple of appointnents I had to keep that were between 100-150 miles from. A good pain management doc who knows and understands RSD is an anestheiologist - not one working in a hospital doing his job for a surgery, but also has a clinic there for pain patients. The one you're looking for is one who has devoted his life to treating chronic pain patients and RSD patients - one who has an office where he spends most of his time at except for those times when a procedure needs to be done in hospital ( which is becoming less).
Sweetie, by now i need to be laying back down....had alll teeth out yesterday so my pain ir over 10!!!!
