I was diagnosed wth RSD by three doctors two months. I had a minor tendon repair surgery, staph infection, another surgery to drain the abcess in my hand, 8 weeks of IV antiobiotics, a skin graft to close my wound, and now RSD and 6 blocks. I am off work had to quit school and am feeling generally hopeless as to my future. I just turned 35 and feel like my life is over. All this has happened in the last 5 months. I can no longer use my hand because of all the scar tissue and can not have the surgery reccommended by my hand doctor because of the RSD. Does anyone have any opinions on when surgery becomes safe? Thanks, and good luck to all who feel like I do.
