I just wanted to drop everyone a line to let you know that I am back online now! I will be available to IM a lot more often. I will also be spending more time updating the site now too.

To let you all know what is going on, I have decided to stay in Wyoming for the time being. This decision is out of neccessity not desire, trust me. While I was packing my bags to head out for the job in DC my mother became very ill. She had to have surgery that caused her to have a series of small strokes. She will have to have the surgery again soon and this has the family very concerned. It seems her corotid arteries are blocking off, this caused a mild stroke which is how the doctors found the problem. They did the first surgery to clean out the blockage and this caused additional strokes. We are waiting at this point to find out when the doctors (and if ) will be having her go in for the surgery to clear the other artery.

Additionally my oldest boy was facing some really heavy legal stuff and he wanted to have his mom here to help him get through it. Right now things are going ok for him but it will remain touchy until he is off probation in 3 years. Long story short...he got into some trouble (not drug related) but have since found out that he has a drug problem.

All this being said I think you can all see why I have decided to stay in Wyoming. I know there are many of you who were looking forward to my hitting the east coast, as much as I was looking forward to it, but destiny has made that impossible at this time.

I have moved to another town in Wyoming and as soon as I get my license I will be starting work at the mental health clinic here working with chronically mentally ill patients. As many of you know this is an area I have been working in for some time only in a different capacity. Once I have my license I will be a full fledged therapist, well I will be a certified therapist (not licensed yet).

I have also gotten my letter of acceptance to attend the University of Wyoming Graduate School starting in the summer of 2004. At that point I will be busy busy busy again.

I would like to welcome all our new members and say thank you for joining our group. Feel free to call on me at any time.

Your fearless leader.

Janine
